A Simple Math Equation

Q: If a train with 122 cars is traveling north and crosses Pawnee at 3:50 am, and Sharla leaves work at 3:45 am and travels 3 miles west on Pawnee, when will she get home?

A: I don't know, I lost track of time while counting the train cars.

I'm getting used to my late night work schedule, I've even stopped feeling cranky by the end of my shift. The only thing I don't like about driving home that late is that I have to cross 2 sets of train tracks, which both seem to be very busy at night. Almost every night this week, I've been stopped by a train on my way home. It's kind of annoying, but I guess it evens out the fact that all of the traffic lights are generally in my favor when driving to and from work. I mean who's on the road at 3:00 am? No one.

In related news, I got my first paycheck last night! Woo hoo!

Oh, also I have to tell you the cutest thing. I called to talk to Ashley the other day, and when she got on the phone, she said, "Hi-eee Hea-ther!"| with a big voice inflection on each syllable. I laughed so hard I could barely say hi back to her. It was the CUTEST.
