Finally, Norway seems to be getting this whole house training thing. He's started going to the door now when he needs to go to the bathroom, and he's doing it pretty consistently. It's awesome! We also have him enrolled in training classes at Petsmart. It's an 8-week program and we've been to three classes. He already knows how to sit, lay down, watch me, and walk on a leash without pulling (most of the time).
I like going to the classes because not only do they help us learn how to train our dogs, but he is getting socialized with other dogs and people, so he won't be afraid of them. The trainer we have is very nice, she's really good with the dogs, and she explains behaviors to us (all the doggie parents) and helps us work with individual problems that we're having with our dogs.
Also, on the job front, I'm starting a new day-time schedule next week. I'm extatic! I don't like working during the evening. I need something to motivate me to get up in the morning, or I just sit around all day. I don't go into work until 10:00 am, so it's not too early. Woo hoo! Let's hear it for day shift.
Finished!

Day shifts are better, for sure. Sounds like that PetSmart has got a good thing going. A relative of ours did the PetSmart dog training program, and their dog is a little angel!
