Chiefs!

Well, I watched my first football game as an official Kansas City Chiefs fan. They had a pre-season game last night against the Chicago Bears. We were on our way home from the gym when the game started, so we had to listen to the first part of it in the car. It was great! They were playing very well, and scored a touchdown before we reached home. Obviously, Jason was very excited.

For most of the rest of the game, the Chiefs were in control, only losing the lead for a few minutes in the 3rd quarter. After that, it was all Chiefs. They scored a few more times and ended up winning the game, 24 to 20. Woo hoo! So, I guess my first game experience was a god one.

Jason said that the Chicago Bears defense is supposed to be best in the NFL, so he was surprised how well they had done, and that they were scoring as much as they were. He also said they have a relatively "young team" this year. Many of their starting players are rookies this year, fresh out of college. they are trying to rebuild the team, so he isn't expecting too much from them this year. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, Go Chiefs!

(P.S. Don't worry Jimmie, I'm still of the belief that NASCAR is the best sport around!)
