Everything's Under Control, Situation Normal

On Saturday, I started back to a more normal schedule at work. I'm working in the evening now instead of midnight. I've already started to recover from my late night schedule, and I'm able to get up at a normal time since I'm going to bed at a normal time. It's very nice! In a few weeks they're going to switch Jason to 2nd shift, and he'll be working from about 3:30 - midnight M - F, that's why I opted for a shift that's in the evening. He's going to be on 2nd shift for a few months, and then we'll both switch back to a day shift. Right now it kind of sucks because we only get to see each other for a couple hours every day. I do like that the dogs aren't left at home alone, especially since Norway is still house training. And we're forced to NOT eat out as often because I'm at work.

Speaking of Norway, I got him to go outside today! YAY! But we all (Barklee, Norway and me) just woke up from a well deserved nap, and I found he'd pooped in the kitchen again. BOO! But now that I've mopped the floor, I'm feeling better. Even with a few minor set-backs, I know slowly but surely, we're reaching that golden pillar atop Mount No Poop in the Kitchen, I can feel it.

We're all fine here, thanks. How are you?

Hang in there, I'm sure the puppy will make it!
